Ahmed Jaballah
Born in Tunisia, Ahmed Jaballah is a senior leader in the French and the Global Muslim Brotherhood. Jaballah is President of the Union des Organisations Islamiques de France (UOIF, renamed to Musulmans de France in 2018) and was Vice President of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE). He was also the director of studies at the Institut Européen des Sciences Humaines (IESH) in Château–Chinon and is currently the dean and a professor at the IESH branch in Paris. A long-time member of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR), he was elected to be its vice president in 2018. Jaballah is also a member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) and the Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE), as well as the Muslim World League (MWL). Ahmed’s wife Noura Jaballah was the first president of the European Forum for Muslim Women (EFOMW) and is the president of the French EFOMW member organization Le Forum Européen des Femmes Musulmanes (FEFM).
