Liga Kultur

The Liga Kul­tur (LK) (Cul­tur­al League) was iden­ti­fied in 2008 as the Aus­tri­an mem­ber orga­ni­za­tion of the Fed­er­a­tion of Islam­ic Organ­i­sa­tions in Europe (FIOE), rep­re­sent­ing the Mus­lim Broth­er­hood in Europe. Found­ed in 1998 and based in Vien­na and Graz, Liga Kul­tur has been described as the most influ­en­tial Sun­ni Islam­ic orga­ni­za­tion in Aus­tria, and the web­site of the Egypt­ian Mus­lim Broth­er­hood has described the LK as the “Mus­lim Broth­er­hood off­shoot in Austria.”
